Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They help websites remember information about your visit, such as keeping you signed in or remembering your preferences.
2. Legal Basis
This Cookie Policy is provided in accordance with the EU ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC, as amended by 2009/136/EC) and the Bulgarian Electronic Communications Act (Закон за електронните съобщения, Art. 4a).
Fablecard uses only strictly necessary cookies that are essential for the Platform to function. Under the ePrivacy Directive, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement because the Platform cannot operate without them. No consent is required for these cookies, but we inform you of their use as required by law.
3. Cookies We Use
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
next-auth.session-token | Keeps you signed in to your account | Essential (HTTP-only) | Until logout or 30 days |
__Secure-next-auth.session-token | Secure variant of the session cookie (HTTPS only) | Essential (HTTP-only, Secure) | Until logout or 30 days |
next-auth.csrf-token | Protects against cross-site request forgery attacks | Essential | Session |
next-auth.callback-url | Remembers where to redirect you after sign-in | Essential | Session |
Additionally, we store a fablecard-cookie-consent value in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) to remember that you have acknowledged this cookie notice.
4. No Third-Party Tracking
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking, analytics, or advertising services. Your browsing activity on Fablecard is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
The third-party services we use (Stripe for payments, Resend for email) may set their own cookies only during direct interaction with their services (e.g., the Stripe checkout page). These cookies are governed by their respective privacy policies.
5. Managing Cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View which cookies are stored
- Delete specific cookies or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific or all websites
- Set preferences for first-party vs. third-party cookies
Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Fablecard and using the platform. Since we only use strictly necessary cookies, blocking them effectively makes the Platform unusable.

6. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new types of cookies (for example, analytics), we will update this policy and request your consent where required by law before deploying non-essential cookies. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the platform.
7. Contact Us
If you have questions about our use of cookies, please reach out through our Contact page or email us at [email protected]. For broader data privacy questions, see our Privacy Policy.
