She breathed absolute cold — where she passed, warmth ceased to exist.
Where Vulkoryn burned, Crysalith froze. She moved through the world like
winter given form — not the gentle cold of a frosty morning, but the absolute,
bone-deep stillness of a world where heat has simply stopped existing. Her
breath did not chill the air. It removed warmth from it entirely, leaving
behind a silence so complete that even sound seemed to halt in the air.
Oceans solidified in her wake. Rivers stopped. The moisture in the air fell
as ice before it could become rain. Crysalith was the quietest of the First
Beasts. She did not roar or charge or hunt. She simply existed, and the world
around her died — not from violence, but from the total absence of the warmth
that life requires. When the gods stilled the Primordia, they say Crysalith
did not resist. She simply exhaled one last time, and the ice age that
followed lasted longer than any creature could remember.
