A dragon of impossible size — molten scales, horizon-spanning wings, and a presence that turned day into shadow.
From the molten veins of the newborn earth, Aurelion rose — the first creature
shaped directly by divine hands. Vita poured life into him, Kael gave him
fury, and Gaia forged his body from the deepest fires beneath the crust. His
scales burned like liquid gold. His wings stretched so wide that when he flew,
the land below fell into shadow as though night had come early. Aurelion knew
neither fear nor equal. He claimed the sky as his throne and the horizon as
his kingdom. Every volcano that erupted was an echo of his breath. Every
sunrise that painted the clouds in gold was a memory of his passage. He was
the first thing the gods created that made them pause and wonder if they had
gone too far. They had. But for one glorious age, Aurelion burned across the
heavens — and the world had never been more beautiful — or more afraid.
