He tests all things through conflict — what survives his fire is worthy to endure.
When thought first emerged from the meeting of life and death, it brought with
it a restless question: what is strong enough to last? Ignis was born to
answer it. He is not mindless violence — he is the trial by which all things
are measured. The storm that tests the tree's roots. The predator that sharpens
the herd. The challenge that reveals whether a thing was built to endure or
merely to exist. Ignis does not hate what he destroys. He simply does not
mourn it. What breaks beneath his fire was never meant to stand. What survives
emerges harder, sharper, more certain of its right to be. Warriors pray to
him not for victory, but for the strength to deserve it. Ignis grants nothing.
He only reveals what was always there.
